Roma President James Pallotta won’t be repeating his post-Barcelona celebrations if they knock out Liverpool – “the fountain’s closed tonight”.
The American owner was filmed taking a dunk in the fountain at the Piazza del Popolo after the 3-0 win over Barça last month, earning a fine of €450.
Pallotta then donated €230,000 to fix another fountain in front of the pantheon, but he won’t be going to those lengths tonight, whatever the score.
