There are reports Palermo could sack Alberto Malesani to recall Gian Piero Gasperini after just three games in charge.

The Sicilians started the season with Giuseppe Sannino, but fired him to bring in Gasperini in September.

Malesani took over from Gasperini on February 4 and remains unbeaten, but has notched up just three draws.

Last night’s 0-0 with Genoa left Palermo bottom of the table and the team was loudly jeered after the final whistle.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, President Maurizio Zamparini is considering another change, as he could sack Malesani to bring back Gasperini.

Earlier this month, Palermo also parted company with director Pietro Lo Monaco to return Giorgio Perinetti to the post after he had been fired in September.
