Palermo chief Pietro Lo Monaco confirms a deal with Napoli’s Andrea Dossena, but “we are also in talks for Diego Buonanotte, Marquinho and Ciro Immobile.”

The Sicilians have already done business with Napoli in the transfer window after securing Salvatore Aronica and are on the verge of bringing winger Dossena to the Stadio Barbera too.

“We have an agreement with Dossena and over the next few hours hope to reach a deal with Napoli too,” general manager Lo Monaco told Sky Sport Italia.

He also confirmed interest in Malaga man Buonanotte, Roma midfielder Marquinho and Genoa forward Immobile.

“Buonanotte is a good player and Malaga have made an important investment in him. Apart from a few Champions League appearances, he hasn’t played much this season. He is a player we are interested in and we are working on it.

“As for Marquinho, we have spoken to Roma. We’ll wait until he returns to Italy after their American training camp to see if there are the right conditions for a transfer.

“We have a verbal agreement with Genoa President Enrico Preziosi on Immobile, then events change and we are waiting to see what happens. Palermo want a centre-forward, that much is clear, as we have to cover Abel Hernandez during his injury.

“Marco Borriello? I will confess we only spoke to Genoa about Immobile.”
