Paolo Berlusconi assures there is “absolute calm” for the sale of Milan to Chinese group Sino-Europe Sports.

The consortium has agreed a deal to buy the Rossoneri from Silvio Berlusconi and his Fininvest holding company, but the closing has been delayed twice.

A new date has been set for March and, despite the previous issues, the President’s younger brother is confident the sale will go ahead.

“There’s absolute calm, the date is set for March 3,” Berlusconi told Sky.

“There’s absolute calm, the date is set for March 3,” Berlusconi told Sky.

“They’ve already paid €200m so there are no worries. I congratulate the Chinese group, I can only hope they win with Milan the way we did.

“I can’t say anything about the structure of the group, as I’m the vice-President of Milan, not of Fininvest. They’ve defined the deal, there are no clouds on the horizon.”
