Napoli winger Adam Ounas couldn’t celebrate his first goal for the club, as “it coincided with a defeat” to RB Leipzig.
His angled drive had given them the lead in the Europa League Round of 32 clash, but ended up losing 3-1.
“It’s difficult for those who don’t get to play very much to maintain match fitness and form. It’s tough on a purely physical level to maintain that form,” Ounas told Sky Sport Italia.

“I must continue working in training to convince the Coach that I deserve more playing time. It’s disappointing that my first goal in a Napoli jersey coincided with a defeat, as it effectively became meaningless.
“Unfortunately, we lost tonight, so now we have to focus on Serie A and getting the next three points.”
