The new Roma striker is being tipped to start in the game just a month after making his Azzurri debut against Northern Ireland.

“I hope to integrate myself well into a team that is doing really well,” said the summer arrival from Espanyol.

“It’s obvious that I want to have a great game that will be played in my home stadium, but Italy come first.”

Osvaldo’s inclusion in the Giro Azzurro has been met with some criticism given that he was actually born in Argentina.

“I have made my decision to play for Italy,” said the former Italian Under-21 international when questioned about his Oriundo status.

“I’m Argentine, but I am also Italian. I see my future here in Italy.”
