“At the moment, Juventus are only inferior to Barcelona in Europe,” the Brescia youth team boss commented.
“Real Madrid? I don’t have that much belief in Real seeing as they have had their problems in La Liga this season.”
The Italian champions have one foot in the quarter-finals after their victory in Scotland on Tuesday evening.
“Juve played a great game,” he added. “It’s true that the draw for the last 16 was kind, but Antonio Conte’s side interpreted the game well.
“I’m happy for Conte,” Tacchinardi said of his former teammate. “He marked his debut on the bench in Europe with a great victory.
“It’s a double joy for the Coach. As well as the win, he knows that he has constructed a side that is able to impose its play in Europe.”
