The agent of Palermo’s Diego Fabbrini believes that his client deserves to be recalled to the Italian Under-21 set-up.

Fabbrini was given a chance at Azzurrini level by previous bosses Gigi Casiraghi and Ciro Ferrara, but he’s not really featured under present tactician Devis Mangia.

“Diego has great qualities,” Beppe Galli told Sport Italia. “He can still do better if he is given regular action.

“He certainly deserves to be paid more attention by Under-21 boss Mangia.

“Fabbrini is very attached to the national side. He was called up for a recent training stage, but he hasn’t been selected for an official game for some time.”

The attacking midfielder, 22, has scored one goal in two games for Palermo following his January move from Udinese.
