Sassuolo have signed Italian youngster Gianluca Scamacca from PSV and sold defender Emanuele Terranova to Frosinone.
Scamacca, 18, is an Italy Under-18 international who plays as a striker and began his career at Roma before leaving for Netherlands in 2015.
Terranova played a key role for Sassuolo in their promotion to Serie A four years ago, but the 29-year-old has been no more than a bit-part player since then.
