Andre Onana assures he is ‘learning something new every day’ at Inter and the 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich won’t knock their confidence. ‘We aim to win.’
The Nerazzurri knew this result was irrelevant, as they were guaranteed a place in the Round of 16 as runners-up to Bayern Munich regardless.
It ended 2-0 with a Benjamin Pavard free header on a set play and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting scorcher into the top corner.
“I think that I am improving every day playing with these lads, who have such quality. I learn something new every day,” Onana told Sky Sport Italia.
“It is a new tactical system for me, but I am getting used to it and feel calm because I know things will go well with this team.”
Inter are in the Champions League knockouts for the second season in a row and are climbing back up the Serie A standings after a rough start to the campaign.
“The idea of this club is to always win, whether it’s in the Champions League or Serie A. We have a big squad and will aim to win everything.
“Defending this jersey is something to be very proud of, I want to win because we are Inter.”
