The former Torino and Juventus centre-back spoke at a Press conference ahead of Italy’s Euro 2016 debut against Belgium on Monday.

“I personally had many changes, including tactical, as the English League is a very dynamic one,” said Ogbonna in a Press conference.

“Tactically it might leave something to be desired, but it’s a valid League and it’s no coincidence that from next season there will be some of the best Coaches in England.

“We always give 120 per cent, because that is only right. We are working very hard and I think the Coach is the added value, as he never lets a single detail pass unnoticed.

“This makes us have the right mentality to face these Euros, where on paper we might be on an inferior level to some other teams, but nothing can be taken for granted.

“We are keeping the same determination from the first day to the last.”

Italy’s strength has traditionally been in defence and Ogbonna knows he is an alternate for the Juventus bloc.

“The defence is the best-drilled area of the team. It can be our strong point, but it too has to be trained well.”
