Franco Vazquez has signed a new contract with Palermo which will tie him to the club until 2019, the Rosanero have announced.
The 25-year-old has been in fine form for the Sicilian side this season, scoring five goals and providing the same number of assists in his 17 Serie A appearances.
Vazquez’s performances have even led to speculation that Juventus could bid for his services, but it was announced this morning that the former Belgrano man had signed a new deal.

“Palermo are happy to announce the contract extension of Franco Vazquez,” read a statement on the club’s official website.
“‘Il Mudo’ has signed a new contract that will keep him in Rosanero until 30 June 2019.”
