Juventus striker Sebastian Giovinco will move to Toronto FC at the end of this season as a free agent, the MLS side have confirmed.
Reports had being growing of an agreement with the Atomic Ant, with it believed that he has signed a deal with the Canadian club for €8.6m spread over four years.
Toronto FC have now confirmed the 27-year-old’s capture, minus the details on his contract, through their website and a live streaming event today.

Toronto FC have now confirmed the 27-year-old’s capture, minus the details on his contract, through their website and a live streaming event today.
“Toronto FC announced Monday that it has signed Italian international midfielder Sebastian Giovinco as a Designated Player," read Toronto's statement.
“Giovinco will join Toronto FC at the conclusion of the Italian Serie A season. As per club and league policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed."
Giovinco, who had also been linked with the likes of Fiorentina and Arsenal, will move out to the MLS team at the end of the Italian League season, when his current deal with Juventus expires.
Toronto also ran a statement from general manager Tim Bezbatchenko.
"Today marks a very special day for Toronto FC with the addition of Sebastian Giovinco.
"Seba is in the prime of his career and he has chosen to join Toronto FC and MLS at a time when many of the top clubs in the world were pursuing him.
“We are very pleased to bring a fantastic player to Toronto FC for our club and for our fans, especially those in the Italian community.”
Giovinco also appeared in a brief video message posted by the Canadian outfit.
