Inter have been ordered to play two domestic games behind closed doors for racially abusing Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly, who is suspended himself.
The FIGC’s sporting judiciary ruled on Thursday that Inter’s Curva Nord would also be closed for an extra match, on the grounds of ‘offensive chants’ towards Napoli fans, ‘a great majority of which came from that stand’, as well as those of a ‘racist’ nature in Koulibaly’s direction.

The committee adds ‘the aggravating circumstances related to their repetition and the climate created inside the stadium’ were taken into account.
Consequently, fans will not be able to attend the Nerazzurri’s next two home games against Benevento and Sassuolo, while the Curva Nord will not be open for the visit of Bologna on February 3.
However, Koulibaly will still sit out Napoli’s next two domestic matches, one for accumulating five yellow cards and the second for ‘sarcastic applause’ towards referee Paolo Mazzoleni on Wednesday.
Lorenzo Insigne has also been given the same punishment plus a €10,000 fine for ‘insulting the referee as a captain’.
Elsewhere, Juventus have been fined €10,000 and Bologna €5,000 for setting off smoke bombs, whereas Atalanta are penalised €3,000 for launching flares.
Empoli’s Rade Krunic is suspended for two matches after he was sent off against Torino, while Juve’s Rodrigo Bentancur and Fiorentina’s Vitor Hugo have been handed one-game bans for dismissals.
Finally, Bianconeri boss Max Allegri has been fined €10,000 for ‘directing insinuations towards the employees of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office in the dressing room.’
