Spezia have announced one of their players tested positive for COVID.
The club have just released a statement failing to reveal the player’s identity.
“Spezia Calcio announce that a player of the first team tested positive at COVID- 19,” the club’s official statement reads.
“The player and the rest of the team group are isolating, following the procedures provided by the health protocol.”
Spezia began their pre-season on July 8 under their new coach Thiago Motta.
