Sassuolo have signed a new five-year contract with the young goalkeeper Stefano Turati.

The Neroverdi, who currently prepare to face Inter in Serie A on Sunday, have officially announced that the 19-year-old has penned a new deal at the Mapei Stadium.

“Unione Sportiva Sassuolo Calcio announce the contractual renewal of the sports performances of the Neroverdi player Stefano Turati until June 30, 2025,” the club wrote in an official statement.

The Italy U19 international has played twice for Sassuolo and made his Serie A debut in a 2-2 draw with Juventus in December last season.

He then followed up with another 2-2 draw against Cagliari one week later, his only appearances for the first team so far.
