Sampdoria have officially signed Italian defender Giangiacomo Magnani on loan from Verona.
The 26-year-old centre back has signed for the Ligurian side on a six-month loan deal with a buy option attached. He will be hoping for some more consistent minutes in Genoa after making only five starts this season under coach Igor Tudor.
Magnani joined Verona on a permanent deal last summer, costing the Gialloblu €5m after a successful season on loan with the Veneto side. Before that he spent time with Sassuolo, Brescia, and Perugia.
