Mohamed Salah has officially completed his transfer to Liverpool, as Roma confirm the deal is worth €42m (£36.9m) plus bonuses up to €8m (£7m).
“Salah will join the Premier League side for an initial fee of €42 million. The move will be formally completed when the transfer window opens in England on July 1,” read the Roma statement.

“The deal for the 25-year-old also includes various additional clauses, worth up to a total of €8m, based on the player and Liverpool achieving certain performance-related targets.”
That means the cost will be an initial £36.9m with bonuses of up to £7m, taking the total fee to a potential £43.9m.
The Egypt international flew in to England on Wednesday and underwent his medical today before signing a contract until June 2022, believed to be worth €5.5m per year.
This is a return to the Premier League for the 25-year-old, who struggled for playing time at Chelsea from January 2014 to February 2015.
He rediscovered his confidence on loan at Fiorentina and was signed outright by Roma for a total €20m.
It has been his most prolific ever campaign, scoring 19 goals with 15 assists in 41 competitive games for the Giallorossi.
Salah had already been close to Liverpool when he left FC Basel for Chelsea and Jurgen Klopp has long been an admirer.
“I’m very excited to be here. I’m very happy,” Salah told Liverpoolfc.com.
“I will give 100 per cent and give everything for the club. I really want to win something for this club.
“We have a great team and very good players. I was watching the games last year and everyone was giving 100 per cent to win something.
“Everyone can see the Coach gives everything. I hope to see that together we can give everything to win something for the club, for the supporters and for us.”
He has chosen the Number 11 jersey at Anfield Road.
“First of all, I would like to thank AS Roma, the players, and the fans,” wrote Salah on social media.
“With Roma, I had the best years of my career so far and I will have nothing but gratitude and great memories.”
