Inter‘s Franco Ezequiel Carboni has joined Monza on loan until June 2024, while Watford’s William Troost-Ekong has moved to Salernitana on a temporary deal until the end of the season.

Both the Brianzoli and the Granata have confirmed the deals through their official websites.

Carboni has joined Monza on loan from Inter until June 2024. Monza have an option to make his move permanent in 18 months, but the Nerazzurri can re-sign the 19-year-old for a slightly higher fee.

One year ago, he was called up by Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni for a get-together with the senior squad, along with his brother Valentin.

Carboni spent the first part of the season on loan at Cagliari in Serie B, where he made 13 appearances.

Troost-Ekong, a former Udinese defender, also returns to Serie A, joining Salernitana on loan from Watford until the end of the season.

The Granata have an option to make his move permanent at the end of the current campaign.

“I am very happy to be here, let’s go,” wrote the 29-year-old on social media.
