Roma have formally announced the appointment of Vincenzo Montella as Claudio Ranieri's replacement.
Ranieri offered his resignation last night following a sensational 4-3 defeat to Genoa.
It was confirmed this morning after a meeting with Roma President Rosella Sensi.
Montella takes over on an interim basis. He is charged with ensuring that Roma finish the season strongly.
The Giallorossi have lost their last four games in a row and currently lie eighth in the standings.
