Struggling Catania have announced a Press silence after their defeat at Napoli left them just above the relegation zone.

The Sicilians are now only three points clear of Brescia following the 1-0 loss at the San Paolo last night.

In an effort to keep the players concentrated on Sunday's big game against Genoa, the club have opted to ignore the requests of the media.

The only person associated with Catania who will be allowed to speak to members of the media is chief executive Pietro Lo Monaco.

The players will have a day off tomorrow before returning to training with a double session on Wednesday.

Catania, who replaced boss Marco Giampaolo with Diego Simeone earlier this season, have won just one of their last nine League games for a total of five points from a possible 27.
