Bologna boss Sinisa Mihajlovic has officially extended his contract with the club until 2023.

Mihajlovic had two years left on his previous deal, but Bologna were especially keen to retain him, in light of his cancer treatment.

The Serb returned in January 2019 and led the Rossoblu to safety in his first season, picking up 30 points from just 17 games.

He was diagnosed with leukaemia ahead of 2019-20 but is on the road to recovery after undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
