As expected, Lazio have officially extended Federico Marchetti’s contract until June 2018.
The club released a statement this morning confirming the new deal had been finalised.
The goalkeeper was set to become a free agent at the end of this season, fuelling interest from Juventus, Everton, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.
Marchetti is currently out of action due to a hamstring injury.
