Juventus have announced that striker Mario Mandzukic has extended his contract with the club until 2021.

Sky Sport Italia reports the new deal will see Mandzukic earn €5.5m a season plus bonuses – an increase of €1m from his previous salary.

The Croat, who turns 33 in May, joined Juve from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015 after spells with NK Zagreb, Dinamo Zagreb, Wolfsburg and Bayern Munich.

He has gone on to score 43 goals in 159 appearances for the Bianconeri, providing 24 assists and winning three Scudetti.
