After Federico Dimarco and Matteo Darmian, Inter have also formally announced a new contract extension for Henrikh Mkhitaryan to 2026.

It has been a busy day for the Nerazzurri, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Genoa at Marassi last night to retain the top of the Serie A table.

They have been releasing statements throughout the afternoon, tying Dimarco to the club until June 2027 and veteran Darmian until 2025.

Mkhitaryan is the latest addition to the list of contracts that are signed, sealed and delivered, especially important seeing as his deal was only set to run until the end of this season.

The Armenia international turns 35 next month and joined Inter as a free agent from Roma in the summer of 2022.

He came to Serie A first at Roma in 2019, on loan and then making the move permanent from Arsenal.

The veteran midfielder has made 73 competitive appearances for Inter, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists.
