Antonio Di Natale has confirmed that he will leave Udinese at the end of the season, but he won’t retire.
The veteran striker has scored 226 goals in 439 games for the Zebrette, famously turning down a move to Juventus in favour of staying with the club.
“I won’t be there tomorrow and I regret that very much,” Di Natale said in a Press conference ahead of the Torino game.

“I won’t be there tomorrow and I regret that very much,” Di Natale said in a Press conference ahead of the Torino game.
“I’ve gone two months without playing a game, I’ve had a big muscular problem which has kept me out. I hope to return as soon as possible and be there against Carpi for what will be my last match at the Friuli.
“These have been 12 intense years. My career at Udinese is worthy of a film, but now I’m no longer a protagonist. If I leave, I leave with my head held high, I gave everything.
“I’m proud to have done so much for this shirt, I’ve had a lot of satisfaction and achieved a lot of records thanks to my teammates and the club.
“It’s been the best 12 years of my life. I'm proud of what I did on the pitch, but also off it, rejecting many teams.
“It will be a beautiful emotion to greet all of those who made me feel at home here.
"I'll see what I want to do after that, but right now all that counts is Udinese, which is more important than anything. Even Toto."
Di Natale is sixth in the all-time Serie A top-scorer list, and reveals he wants to catch Giuseppe Meazza in fourth.
“I won’t stop playing. I still have something to give, and I’ll try to chase down Meazza.”
Meazza scored 216 Serie A goals, while Toto is currently on 208.
