Empoli have officially brought back Aurelio Andreazzoli for a second spell as Coach.
Andreazzoli replaces Beppe Iachini, who was sacked earlier on Tuesday after a poor run of results.
It marks a return to Empoli for the 65-year-old, who made way for Iachini in November, having led the side to promotion last season.
Andreazzoli, who assisted Luciano Spalletti at Udinese and Roma, takes over a Tuscan outfit who are just one point above the drop zone in Serie A.
