Berlusconi is on the verge of formally handing over control of the San Siro club, where he has been in charge for 30 years.

“For those of us who have experienced many years at Milan it is a strange feeling,” Pescara Coach Oddo, a former Rossoneri player, told Italian television ahead of the match with Inter.

“The stadium is full and when it’s like that at San Siro it means there is enthusiasm. The ingredients are there for it to be a great game.”

Oddo was then asked about his newest Serie A counterpart, new Nerazzurri boss Stefano Pioli.

“Whether he is the right Coach, the results will tell. He will know how to manage these situations.

“In these types of games there is no team who come into it in better or worse shape.”
