Massimo Oddo admits Pescara “played badly and lost a very important match” after missing a penalty against Crotone.

The 2-1 result was a chaotic affair with both teams reduced to 10 men, but the key moment saw Ledian Memushaj’s spot-kick parried by Alex Cordaz before half-time.

“There is a long way to go until the end of the season, but this was a very important match for us and we lost it,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We played badly and, after managing to get an equaliser, unfortunately we conceded again two minutes later. We’ve got some issues that need to be fixed.

“At the moment we are lacking confidence and that makes it difficult for us to play our football. Crotone are a side that don’t let you give your best, so we were really bad today.

“The thing that most irritated me was that we went behind so soon after drawing level.”

Oddo seemed increasingly frustrated at the situation after Pescara dropped into the bottom two, especially as this season they've failed to score all three penalties.

“At this moment I am not remotely interested in the transfer window, because if we don’t pick up some points before then, even new buys won’t help.”
