“We fell away under the force of their pressure in the second half, having used up a lot of energy. We still didn’t allow them many chances, aside from the goals.

“I’m nonetheless satisfied, because we start the season well and can only improve going forward.

“It’s only normal that people assume we’ll be candidates for the drop, as we are a newly-promoted side. It’s up to us to overturn those expectations.

“We must have the humility to work hard and get stronger. Napoli do not have many weaknesses, but they are a little flat on the lines. That is why I put Gianluca Caprari there as a False 9.”
