The team returned to Rome on Monday morning and were welcomed by circa 200 supporters at Fiumicino Airport at 7 am local time.
Italy President Sergio Mattarella will welcome the Azzurri at the Quirinale Palace at 5 pm local time, 4 pm in the UK.
Italy PM Mario Draghi will also meet the Azzurri at Palazzo Chigi, the seat of the Council of Ministers and the official residence of the Prime Minister.

However, according to Sky Sport Italia, there won’t be a victory parade to avoid mass gatherings. Local authorities have not given the green light and it seems unlikely the Azzurri will receive authorization to celebrate in the streets.
Back in 2006, Italy returned to Rome after winning the World Cup, and over 1 million people showed up at the Circo Massimo to watch the Azzurri and celebrate with them.
Italy players will have lunch at their hotel in Rome at 1 pm UK. They’ve already posted several pictures from the spot, most of them showing their new piece of silverware.
