Schelotto has made an impressive start to the season with the Bergamo outfit and there is talk that he could soon be rewarded with a call-up to the Italian national squad.

However, his name has also been mentioned in the transfer rumour mill amidst whispers that Roma are keen on his services.

Nevertheless, a capital switch doesn't seem to be on the horizon. "The Giallorossi officials have never contacted me," Franco Zavaglia told Forza Roma.

The 22-year-old, an Argentine-born Italian Under-21 international, has also been paired with the likes of Inter and Juventus” data-scaytid=”10″>Juventus.

"I don't know if he could leave Atalanta in January," Zavaglia added. "For now he is happy in Bergamo, but we'll have to wait and see what happens."

Schelotto, who spent last term at Cesena and Catania, is a right-sided player who can be fielded in defence or midfield.
