Sky Sport Italia claim Milan turned down Liverpool’s offer to exchange Mario Balotelli for M’Baye Niang.

Balo has spent this season on loan at San Siro, but struggled to make an impact due to poor form and injury problems.

The Rossoneri are in negotiations with Liverpool to make the move permanent.

According to Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio, the Anfield side offered to let Balotelli go in exchange for Milan’s young French striker Niang.

The answer was a definite ‘no,’ as Niang has a lot of potential and has already attracted interest from Tottenham too.

Niang is valued at around €12m, considerably more than Balotelli is now.

The 21-year-old has been out injured for a couple of months after he was involved in a car accident.

Before then, he had scored eight goals in 20 competitive games, plus five assists.
