“Then Cerci missed and we were in paradise, the emotions were really great.
“Fiorentina played competitively? I never questioned the sportsmanship of Fiorentina, I know that Fiorentina-Torino would be played in the most complete correctness.”
The Ducali patron was asked of the club’s plans for the summer market and for next season.
“We can do a good job, we have never made great clearance sales. Everyone has been thinking about sales, we have not. We must be careful with our budget, I trust a lot in my company. When a player is sought by a great team, it is still difficult to keep him.
“A healthy club without new investment can lead to results? I think so, yes, the serenity of a group is important, it is even more so in difficult moments.
“In Parma we have made great investment and I believe that these players must be mixed. We are doing well at youth level, we strongly believe in the youngsters.”
Speculation is that Milan may be interested in coming in for Coach Roberto Donadoni, as they apparently seek a replacement for Clarence Seedorf.
“To date we have not had any signals from Milan, we are fine with Donadoni, now he will take a few days off and go and play golf.
“I will be in China for work, when we return I do not think there will be any surprises. If there are, they will be handled by men.
“Donadoni, though, has one more year on his contract.”
