Juventus have made no move for Rubin Kazan stopper Salvatore Bocchetti, his representative has admitted.

The defender has regularly been linked with a switch to the Old Lady and those rumours resurfaced with news that Giorgio Chiellini could be out of action for the next three months.

“I’ve not had any signals,” representative Andrea D’Amico told TMW. “But Salvatore is always alert to what is happening.

“It’s only normal that he is doing that seeing as his contract expires in 2013, even if he’s happy at Rubin for now.”

The former Genoa player is only tied to his present outfit until next December and it is unclear whether a renewal is on the cards.

Bocchetti, who has also been linked with Napoli after the suspension of Paolo Cannavaro, is said to want a Serie A return in order to push for a place in Cesare Prandelli’s international plans.

The 25-year-old moved to Rubin from Genoa in 2010 for a fee believed to be around the €15m mark.
