Alvaro Morata has laughed off a suggestion that he could return to Juventus in January.

He went on to praise the Gonzalo Higuain-Paulo Dybala partnership, calling the duo “two great players.”

"It's the first time I've heard such a thing. It’s unthinkable,” he told La Gazetta dello Sport.

”That said, it’s clear that I hope that Juve always wins, I’m still very much a Juventino and and I always will be, but I do not think I’ll go back.

He was then asked about how Higuain has linked up with Dybala and revealed that he was told by Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici that the Bianconeri would invest heavily in attack this summer.

“Higuain-Dybala? I expected them to combine well," Morata continued. "They are two great players, in Italy there is not a duo like them.

"At the end of the European Championship, Fabio [Paratici] told me that Juve wanted me and that he would make an important offer for me, but said that if it went wrong he would try to sign a player just as expensive or more expensive. That's what happened."
