Pescara goalkeeper Mattia Perin has not been contacted by any of Italy's major clubs, according to his agent.

Contrary to reports in Gazzetta dello Sport this morning linking the teenager with a move to Milan in the summer, his representative has confirmed that no Italian clubs have been in touch about a move.

But, he has conceded that a number of foreign clubs are interested in the Delfini shot-stopper.

“Mattia is doing well this season, so it is normal to see these reports,” Moreno Roggi told Gazzetta Giallorossa. “But it is still early to talk about the transfer market.

“There have been many teams that have shown an interest, but as yet, no one has contacted us directly.

“I can say though, that the teams interested are foreign and not Italian.”

Perin is on-loan at Giovanni Stroppa's side for the season, from parent club Genoa, so far playing 10 Serie A games and conceding 17 goals.
