The Pitagorici earned their first win in 10 Serie A matches this afternoon, Diego Falcinelli's late winner giving them a 2-1 victory over Chievo and their first ever away top-flight triumph.
"It is a crucial victory. Too many times we have been competitive without managing to get the points," Nicola stated after his side overtook Palermo to move up to 18th in the table.

"We use what we have and we are managing to add quality to what we do. Survival? Nothing is impossible.
"We need to be ready to do well against anyone. Our aim is to cut the gap to Empoli and today we did it.
"We are alive, we believe and we show it on the pitch."
