Nice have reportedly opened the door for Dalbert to join Inter after his “disappointing” preseason performances.
According to Tuttosport, proof of Nice’s judgment was seen by Coach Lucien Favre’s decision to start with Malang Sarr – a central defender by trade – over Dalbert at left-back for Wednesday’s Champions League qualifier against Ajax.
However, the 23-year-old did appear as a substitute, albeit for the final three minutes of normal time, with Mario Balotelli’s equaliser earning the French side a 1-1 draw.
