As per Sky Sport Italia, a start date of September 12 for the 20-21 campaign was drafted by clubs.

Before it can be made official, UEFA must work out the dates for its competitions first.

On the topic of loan deals that are due to expire on June 30, the broadcaster reports there was a general consensus to extend them until August 30, when the FIGC considers this season to be over.

However, that would only apply to domestic loans so separate agreements will be needed for Serie A players on loan from/at foreign clubs.

Finally, the decision was taken to terminate Campionato Primavera 1 for the highest-ranking Under-19 sides in Italy with immediate effect.
