Udinese chief Gino Pozzo and the forward’s agent Bruno Carpeggiani held discussions last week where a compromise was reached.

Di Natale, despite being 35, will see his salary rise from €1.3m a season to €1.7m. There are also bonus clauses which could see him net a further €300,000.

The Italian international, 11 goals in 42 caps, has scored 185 goals in 345 appearances for the Stadio Friuli outfit.

He joined Udinese in 2004 from Empoli” data-scaytid=”15″>Empoli.
