Paulo Dybala is still working on recovering from a ligament injury and will undergo further tests to see if he can take part in Roma’s upcoming match with Inter.

The 29-year-old Argentinian star missed the Giallorossi’s last two consecutive outings against Monza and Servette after suffering a collateral ligament injury in the 40th minute of the 4-1 win over Cagliari back on October 8th.

Dybala is a key figure in Jose Mourinho’s attack, scoring 18 goals and providing eight assists across 38 total matches in his debut season with Roma. This term, he’s already netted twice and served up two assists.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Dybala will undergo a round of medical tests at Trigoria in the coming hours to examine his collateral ligament injury. He carried out individual exercises on Monday and has almost completely dispelled the pain felt in his left knee, but precautions are being taken.

Roma could call up Dybala for their upcoming Serie A clash with Inter on October 29th, but he is unlikely to start in the match. The goal is to have him fully fit for the Derby della Capitale on November 12th.
