Napoli’s January signings Hamed Junior Traore and Cyril Ngonge have joined up with the team at their current base in Saudi Arabia, photos posted on the club’s social media channels have confirmed.

Napoli are currently based in Riyadh for the duration of the newly-formatted Supercoppa Italiana. The Partenopei will face Inter in the competition’s final on Monday evening.

Ngonge is Napoli’s most recent acquisition, having made his permanent move from Hellas Verona on Friday evening in a deal thought to be in the region of €18m plus add-ons.

Traore arrived on loan from Bournemouth on Wednesday. Napoli have the chance to make the move permanent for €25m in the summer, but they will have to pay a loan fee if they do not decide to activate their buy option.

Napoli submitted their squads for the Supercoppa Italiana on January 14, so Ngonge and Traore are not expected to take to the field against Inter on Monday.

Napoli’s next Serie A fixtures will be against Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico next Sunday.
