Milan are set to tighten their grip on talented youngster Stephan El Shaarawy by offering him a new contract.

The 20-year-old is the Serie A top scorer this season after bagging eight goals in 11 games for the struggling Diavolo.

The 20-year-old is the Serie A top scorer this season after bagging eight goals in 11 games for the struggling Diavolo.

The Gazzetta dello Sport is today suggesting that the former Padova and Genoa man will be offered a renewal until 2018.

As part of the move, El Shaarawy will see his annual salary rise from €0.8m a campaign up to €1.2m.

El Shaarawy, apparently being watched by Manchester United and Real Madrid, is now a full Italian international.
