Sampdoria have reportedly agreed a new contract with veteran hitman Fabio Quagliarella to June 2020 with an option to 2021.

The striker turns 36 in January, but is still going remarkably strong with eight goals and five assists in 14 Serie A appearances this season.

His contract had been due to expire at the end of the current campaign.

However, with interest rumoured from Milan in the media, Samp worked to lock down the scorer of spectacular goals.
