“Finals are unpredictable and we lost two of them on penalties in recent years. There are also strong opponents and Milan are a very good side, so it’s up to Juventus to prove ourselves tonight,” Nedved told Rai Sport.

Naturally, he was asked about Higuain, as the striker is still owned by Juventus and on loan to Milan, but could be heading to Chelsea.

Pipita is not in the starting XI this evening, officially because of a ‘fever.’

“I don’t think it matters if he plays or not. It’s not fair to talk about Higuain right now, out of respect for Milan, as we are about to play them. We can talk about it from tomorrow.”
