“If we do well, then we know that we can go through to the next phase of the tournament. However, we know the difficulties that await us,” the vice-president told JTV.
“The match in Turin taught us a great deal. We knew before that Lokomotiv Moscow were a very strong team, but as everyone saw, we struggled to get the better of them. They are even more dangerous on home turf.
“We’ve had a strong start to the season, knowing there would be difficulties with the change of coach and many players. We won’t rest on our laurels, as we can and want to do much better. We know precisely where we need to improve, too.
“Qualifying with two games to spare would be very good, but the important thing is not when we go through, but how.”
