Sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli confirms Napoli are working to renew Dries Mertens’ contract – “we’re confident there will be no problems”.
The Belgian winger has four goals and an assist for the Partenopei so far this term, and it appears an extension to his current deal is in the pipeline.
“There’s a willingness on our part to keep him, and also on his part to stay,” Giuntoli told Radio Crc.
