The Ducali will be at the San Paolo tonight for their Week 16 commitment looking to end a miserable run of form that has them bottom of the table.

Whilst heading into the match with the Partenopei as the clear favourites, Palladino believes his side may have a chance thanks to star striker Antonio Cassano.

“Playing with Antonio is very easy, he's a champion,” the ex-Juventus man said, in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“And I try to give my best among other things because Parma needs goals, important performances and points.

“Playing in Naples, against the team from my city, is going to be a very strong emotion. Many of my friends will come and watch me.

“But of course I'll only think about playing and giving my utmost with the Parma shirt.

“Napoli won't win by default, we'll try and play for it until the end.

“Napoli is a very difficult adversary for everyone. We've got to try and take some points home, or it's going to be hard to save ourselves.”

The 30-year old also spent a few words on the crisis that Parma are currently going through.

“I don't think there's only one cause for this crisis. We have lost some important players to injury, and then there is the issue at boardroom level. And we started badly in the League.

“The last few games we have played, even though we lost two and drew the other, we are improving and not just a little.

“We can emerge from this moment because we're finding our game again. We're alive as a team.”
