According to Tuttosport, there was interest in the former Udinese man this summer, but no-one would pay the €65m release clause.
Now though Coach Carlo Ancelotti has made it clear that he sees Zielinski as the future of his midfield, and the club is ready to tie him down with a contract until 2023.
